What Happens in a Senior's Yoga Class?

Chair & Prop-Supported Postures

Participants are guided through simple movements that can be done standing, seated on a chair, or using the wall for support — with no need to get down to the floor if that’s uncomfortable.

Gentle Breath Awareness

Soft breathing practices calm the nervous system, support emotional balance, and help reduce stress.

Joint Mobility & Light Stretching

Slow, mindful movements help maintain flexibility in the shoulders, hips, knees, and spine, promoting ease in everyday motions.

Relaxation & Rest

Each session ends with a few minutes of guided relaxation so that seniors leave feeling refreshed, not drained.
